IT Director

Troy Villar is the Director of IT since 2020 at Child and Family Service, Hawaii's oldest nonprofit dedicated to family-strengthening services. A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Troy has over 30 years of experience in software development, hardware design, and network implementation. He developed a comprehensive Point-of-Sale (POS) system and built custom servers and computers. Troy is also the VP of ISC2-Hawaii and leads its Cybergenerations program, promoting cybersecurity education and awareness. He holds a degree in Information Systems from Hawaii Pacific University, where he previously served as Associate Director of Data Services. Feeling challenged, Troy is currently completing his Master of Science, Cybersecurity and Information Assurance (MSCIA) at Western Governors University (WGU). In his free time, Troy enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and spending time with his family and their dogs.
