Lora Vaughn, CISSP

Lora Vaughn is a cybersecurity executive and former Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with over 20 years of experience across fintech, tech, and banking. She has led high-impact security programs that protect critical infrastructure, data, and applications. She has held senior cybersecurity leadership roles at MoneyGram, Fastly, Simmons Bank, and Regions Bank, with a focus on security operations, incident response, and regulatory compliance. A frequent speaker at industry events, Lora has presented at conferences including WiCyS, ISC2 Security Congress, and the Southeast Cybersecurity Summit. She serves on the boards of Central Alabama ISSA and Central Alabama WiCyS, where she champions diversity and inclusion in cybersecurity. Lora holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Birmingham-Southern College and is a CISSP.
